Jaco Morits is a Systems Engineer at TNO since September 2017, specializing in quantum technology projects, including quantum networks, quantum key distribution (QKD), nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond, and integrated devices. Previously, Jaco completed a Master Thesis at QuTech focusing on phase stabilized entanglement generation between distant qubits, and conducted a Bachelor Thesis at LION (Universiteit Leiden) on designing and developing a low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope with an XY coarse stage. An internship at Rubber Design involved researching machinery damping during earthquakes. Jaco holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology (2015-2017), a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from the same institution (2014-2015), and a Bachelor of Engineering in Technische Natuurkunde from De Haagse Hogeschool / vestiging Delft (2010-2014).
