Jasper Griffioen is an expert in environmental geochemistry and hydrology, currently serving as a part-time professor in Water Quality Management at Utrecht University and as an expert at TNO Geological Survey since 1991. They have conducted extensive research on water and soil quality in relation to various fields including agriculture and nature conservation. Jasper previously held positions at Deltares and was a member of the Soil Technical Committee. They earned a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences (hydrogeology) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1991.
