Jos de Jong

Jos de Jong currently serves as an Advisor on the Operations and Human Factors roadmap team at TNO, providing support to the Netherlands Ministry of Defence in major acquisition projects and military operations. Prior to this role, Jos held the position of Department Head of Weapon and Sensor Technology at the Ministerie van Defensie, overseeing technology support for naval vessels. Additionally, Jos has extensive experience within the Defence Materiel Organisation, where responsibilities included managing maritime weapon systems and leading project support for naval construction. Jos's career with the Royal Netherlands Navy included various key positions such as Weapon Engineering Officer and Head of Staff Department. Jos holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and completed advanced military education at the Netherlands Defence Academy.
