Lisa Klous

Lisa Klous is a scientist at TNO since September 2021, focusing on thermal physiology and physical performance in military contexts. As a reservist with Koninklijke Marine Reserve since January 2021, Lisa also brings expertise from a PhD candidacy at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, which involved research on sweat sensor development for athletes and collaboration within an international consortium. Previous roles include project management for reducing heat stress in military personnel and supervising students at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. With experience in athletic performance monitoring at organizations like AFC Ajax and the Koninklijke Nederlandse Roeibond, Lisa has contributed to various aspects of sports science, including conducting research, organizing conferences, and providing technical advice based on scientific findings. An educational background in Human Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam supports a strong foundation in the field.
