Maarten Schadd

Maarten Schadd is an experienced researcher and project manager at TNO since November 2018, focusing on innovation projects involving Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Optimization for clients such as the Dutch Ministry of Defense and law enforcement. Previously, Maarten served as a Product Owner and Product Consultant at Blueriq from May 2012 to November 2018, where responsibilities included backlog prioritization, roadmap maintenance, and development of in-house software with an emphasis on Business Intelligence and process management. Maarten's academic background includes a post-doctoral research position at Maastricht University from July 2006 to May 2012, where research concentrated on intelligent search techniques and Monte-Carlo Tree Search, as well as a PhD on heuristic search in games. Maarten holds both a BSc and MSc in Knowledge Engineering from Maastricht University, completed between 2002 and 2006.
