Marc Steen is a Senior Research Scientist at TNO since January 2003, contributing as a co-applicant and senior researcher in several multi-year, multi-partner projects, including TRANSCEND and AI-MAPS. In addition, Marc served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society from October 2023 to April 2024, focusing on technology and citizen well-being. Previous experience includes research roles at Weizenbaum Institute, KPN Research, and Philips Consumer Electronics, as well as teaching positions at TU Delft and the Education Centre Dar-ul-Hikmat. Marc holds a PhD in Science and Technology Studies/Critical Management Studies from TU Delft and has pursued further education in both law and project management.
