Mark Houben

Mark Houben is a seasoned project leader and senior research scientist at TNO, where tenure began in May 2006, focusing on managing research and development projects in areas such as disorientation, self-motion perception, auditory perception, and human performance in adverse conditions. Prior to TNO, Mark held the position of research scientist (post-doc) at Erasmus MC from January 2003 to May 2006, conducting research on 3D vestibular function in both normal subjects and patients with vestibular disorders. Mark's academic journey includes serving as a PhD student at IPO, Eindhoven University of Technology from January 1998 to July 2002, where research centered on the perception of non-speech audio. Mark earned a degree from Eindhoven University of Technology between 1992 and 1997.
