Ni Wang

Ni Wang, PhD, currently serves as a Scientist at TNO since March 2022, focusing on open-source quantitative model development and applied data science for complex systems. Previously, Ni Wang was a PhD Researcher at Technische Universiteit Delft from August 2017 to December 2022, where the dissertation explored incorporating institutions into optimization-based energy system models under the guidance of prominent supervisors and a doctoral committee. Prior experience includes roles as an Application Engineer at InnoFour in 2016, specializing in sales and support of CFD products, and as a Simulation Engineer at Bosch, optimizing a wall-mounted boiler and performing CFD simulations. Ni Wang holds a PhD in Applied Data Science and Decision Modeling from Delft University of Technology, a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Technology from the University of Twente, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy and Environment Systems Engineering from Zhejiang University, along with an exchange experience at Technical University of Munich.
