Pascal Buskens

Pascal Buskens is a distinguished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Guest Professor at Hasselt University since October 2017. With extensive experience at TNO since March 2011, Pascal has held various roles, including Principal Scientist in Colloids & Interfaces and Senior Scientist focused on Responsive Coatings and Materials. Pascal also worked at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences as a Professor of Nanostructured Materials from October 2016 to September 2020, and led a research group at DWI – Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials from January 2014 to September 2017. Previous positions include Project Leader at DWI an der RWTH Aachen e.V. and R&D Program Manager at DSM Engineering Plastics. Academic qualifications include a Habilitation in Macromolecular Chemistry from RWTH Aachen University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. Pascal's educational journey also includes a Diplom in Chemistry from Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen and studies at the University of Oxford.
