Peter Willems

Peter Willems is a senior scientist at TNO and the owner of infraBIM.nl, focusing on Building Information Modeling (BIM). With expertise in semantic modeling, geometric modeling, and systems engineering, they contribute to national and international standardization initiatives and BIM consultancy projects, primarily for public bodies. Peter served as the manager of R&D at the European Design Centre from 2004 to 2011 and has been a consultant for Rijkswaterstaat since 2012, where they assist in implementing BIM standards. They hold a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Geosciences from Delft University of Technology, where they were promoted to a Ph.D. in 1998.
