Piet Jacobs is a Senior Scientist at TNO since February 2001 and has held the title of Researcher. In addition, Piet Jacobs serves as a Docent for a course on indoor climate technology at TVVL from June 2021, focusing on particulate matter in the built environment, its measurement, applicable legislation, and potential measures based on practical and laboratory case studies. Since June 2013, Piet Jacobs has been a board member and treasurer of ISIAQ.nl, the Dutch chapter of the International Society of Indoor Air and Climate. Previous experience includes working as a Process Engineer at Stork Engineers and Contractors BV from 1996 to 2001 and participating in a design training program in Process and Product Design at Eindhoven University of Technology from January 1994 to January 1996. Piet Jacobs holds a degree in Chemical Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, earned between 1988 and 1993.
