Raphaël Steenbergen

Prof. Dr. Ir. Raphaël D.J.M. Steenbergen graduated cum laude in civil engineering from Delft University of Technology in 2003 and earned a PhD in structural mechanics in 2007. They have since worked at TNO as a Principal Scientist and specialize in structural reliability, dynamics, and probabilistic design while also instructing post-academic courses. Since 2013, they have served as a visiting professor at Ghent University, contributing to various international committees in structural reliability and regularly publishing in their field.
