Rita Streich is an experienced geophysicist currently serving as a Senior Researcher in Electromagnetics at TNO since November 2023. Previously, Rita has held various roles at Shell Global Solutions International B.V. from June 2012 to October 2023, including Non-seismic Geophysicist and Senior Researcher in Electromagnetic Geophysics, where Rita focused on technical support for electromagnetic geophysics applications, developed next-generation imaging algorithms, and contributed to software upgrades and multi-physics data integration. Prior experience includes a Junior Research Group Leader position at GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences, where Rita developed land CSEM technology, and a Research Scientist role at SINTEF Petroleum Research, where seismic and EM modeling codes were created. Rita holds a PhD in Geophysics from ETH Zurich and a German MSc in Geophysics with minors in Geology and Physics from Potsdam University.
