Rob Snel has over three decades of experience in system engineering, currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at TNO since August 1990. Rob's expertise includes developing machine vision and mechatronic instruments for the agro and food industry from 1990 to 2000, and system engineering of optical and mechatronic systems for lithographic industries from 2000 to 2007. Prior to TNO, Rob worked as a researcher at Delft Hydraulics in the hydrosurveys division, focusing on the development of survey instruments and the deployment of offshore wave measurement systems. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Control Engineering from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, earned between 1984 and 1988.
