Robert Egerman

Robert Egerman is a highly experienced Senior Optomechanical Systems Engineer and Architect currently working at TNO since January 2020, serving as Chief Engineer for the Telescope work share on NASA's WFIRST mission. Prior to this role, Robert held several influential positions, including Sr. Opto-mechanical Engineer at Harris Corporation from April 1992 to January 2020, and Lead Design Engineer at Eastman Kodak Company, where innovative approaches to mirror-mounting concepts were developed. Experience also includes positions at Corning Tropel Corporation and in various roles at Eastman Kodak Company focusing on structural analysis, development engineering, and mechanical engineering consulting. Robert holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
