Sietske Bootsma

Sietske Bootsma is an experienced researcher currently working at TNO as an Onderzoeker in the Defense, Safety & Security division since October 2022. Prior to this role, Sietske held positions as a Junior adviseur at CQ procesmanagement BV and as an Assortment Quality Specialist at bol.com, focusing on corporate social responsibility and process improvement. Additional experience includes data analysis as a Onderzoeksassistent at Validators | Be in the know, and a traineeship at Emergo by UL in Human Factors Research & Design. Sietske has contributed to significant research projects at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the Nederlands Herseninstituut, exploring judicial errors and cognitive processes related to sleep and emotion. An educational background includes a Master’s degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utrecht University, complemented by Gymnasium education.
