Simona Villa is a researcher specializing in solar energy, currently working at TNO and SEAC Solar Energy Application Centre since February 2019. Simona has a comprehensive background in energy research, having served as a Teaching Assistant in photovoltaics at Technische Universiteit Delft in 2018, where responsibilities included support for the Photovoltaic Systems Summer School. Prior internships include work at Eurac Research on energy-efficient building design and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics, focusing on phase-changing materials to enhance energy efficiency. Simona holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, alongside an exchange study program at Dalkeith High School in Scotland.
