Soledad van Eijk is an experienced professional with a strong background in energy and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as Fractievoorzitter and Raadslid in both Dijk en Waard and Gemeente Langedijk for GroenLinks since December 2017, Soledad also holds the position of Business Developer for Carbon Capture and Industrial Heat at TNO. Previous roles include Project Leader for Energy Futures at Stichting Toekomstbeeld der Techniek and Consultant for Offshore Wind Energy at the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands, where Soledad focused on maintenance strategies for wind energy and conducted research on CO2 capture mechanisms. Soledad holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Analytical Chemistry from Inholland University of Applied Sciences and an MBO level 4 degree in Analytical Chemistry.
