Thies Postma

Thies Postma is a trained professional with experience in multiple engineering and research roles. Currently serving as a trainee and graduate intern at TNO since March 2023, Thies is conducting thesis research focused on sensitivity analysis in optomechanical systems. Previously, Thies completed a Master's in High-Tech Engineering at TU Delft while also holding the position of Mechanical Engineer with Vattenfall Solar Team. Thies contributed to the HortIMPACT program during an internship at SNV in Kenya, emphasizing fair pricing in food chains. Earlier experiences include logistics planning at DLG, marketing and communications at Science Centre Delft, and field hockey training at DHC Hudito. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in International Entrepreneurship & Development from Delft University of Technology, supplemented by a VWO degree from Christelijk Lyceum Delft.
