Tim Roos

Tim Roos is a Medior Scientist at TNO since March 2021, with prior experience as a Driver for Koninklijke PostNL B.V. in late 2020. Tim completed a PhD focused on scramjet propulsion at RMIT University, which included work as a Test and Development Engineer investigating hydrocarbon fuels in hypersonic propulsion. Earlier, Tim served as Chief Powertrain at Eco Runner Team Delft, leading the design of hydrogen-powered vehicle systems. Additionally, Tim played key roles in the founding and operation of ESN Delft as Secretary and Vice President, and in policy development as a Representative for ESN the Netherlands. Tim holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering and various degrees from RMIT University and Delft University of Technology.
