Yu Wu

Yu Wu is a seasoned research scientist specializing in advanced solar cell development, currently engaged with TNO since August 2022, focusing on tandem solar cells and innovative device architectures. Previously held roles include technical consultant at Admatec Europe, where responsibilities involved promoting 3D printing technologies in the Chinese market, and research positions at TNO and ECN, emphasizing back contact silicon heterojunction solar cells and high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells. Yu Wu's early career included significant research contributions on nanoscale materials and thin film deposition at institutions such as Solliance Solar Research, the University of Groningen, and City University of Hong Kong. Yu Wu earned a PhD in surface science and thin film technology from the University of Groningen in 2008.
