To Be Worldwide is a Foundation that helps children in Ghana realise their full potential, so that later they can help build their communities.
To Be Worldwide was founded in 2002 by Nellie Ekua Kirschner-Timmer, who is of Ghanaian Dutch decent.

To Be Worldwide builds & operates educational resource centres that complement the existing public school structure. Each facility offers a library, a computer lab with e-learning material and an activities program to stimulate the development of children's creative & technological skills.
The centres work with local government schools to provide courses during school hours and also offers a range of activities for after school.
With the support of Unicef Ghana, de European Union in Ghana, funds from the foundations such as Fondation Les Paquerettes, Net4kids Aid Foundation and the Turing Foundation we have been able to reach more than 3000 children in Ghana with our activities.
