Jill Akens

Jill Akens, CNIM, is a Certified Neuro Intraoperative Monitoring Technician with a degree from Lipscomb University. Having received training in intraoperative monitoring at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Jill has over sixteen years of experience in surgical neurophysiology, primarily in the Operating Room administering neurophysiological monitoring for complex surgeries. Jill's career includes roles at Sentient Medical Systems, NeuLine Health Management, PEAK NEUROMONITORING, and Texas Intraoperative Monitoring. Currently, Jill serves as a Physician Liaison at Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, dedicated to meeting the needs of both providers and patients in the neuromonitoring field.
