Chetan G. is an Assistant General Counsel and Head of Privacy Legal at Toast, bringing a decade of expertise in privacy law, particularly in GDPR and CCPA compliance. Formerly at Google, Chetan served as a privacy subject matter expert, leading efforts related to Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and navigating global regulatory compliance challenges. Prior experience includes directing the privacy counseling team at Twitter and advising on significant product initiatives and regulatory interactions. Educated at the University of Oxford and the University of California, Berkeley, Chetan holds degrees in law and is licensed to practice in India and California.
