Scott Moorhead

Scott Moorhead is a legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and product counsel roles. Currently serving as Director and Lead Counsel, Commercial at Toast since November 2023, Scott has previously worked at Planet as Product Counsel and at Stripe as Commercial Counsel. Notably, Scott held the position of Associate Director, Legal at Twitter, providing support for the Twitter Developer Platform, and was Director of Legal Affairs at Gnip prior to its acquisition by Twitter. Scott has also served as Business & Legal Affairs Manager at Golden Gaming, focusing on cross-departmental counsel in the gaming industry, and began a legal career as a Law Clerk at Robinson Waters & O’Dorisio. Scott Moorhead holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business.
