Stephen Wallant

Stephen Wallant is currently the Director of Fintech Counsel at Toast, a position held since 2023. Prior to this role, Stephen served as Senior Fintech Counsel at the same company from 2022 to 2023. Stephen's legal career began with a clerkship at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York from 2011 to 2012, followed by associate positions at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and Sidley Austin LLP from 2012 to 2021. Stephen holds a J.D. summa cum laude from St. John's Law School and a B.S. cum laude in Math from the State University of New York, Albany.
