Varun Singhal

Varun Singhal is a skilled data scientist with a strong background in developing machine learning models and financial analytics. Varun's experience includes working at Citi from August 2020 to October 2022, where models were created for personalized financial product recommendations and customer targeting. Varun also served as a Secretary at Gopali Youth Welfare Society from July 2018 to April 2019, leading initiatives that secured significant funding and fostered partnerships with major companies. Varun's earlier roles include a research internship at the Ministry of Human Resource Development and a data science internship at Sigmoid, as well as a position as Secretary for Technology Student Gymkhana at IIT Kharagpur. Currently, Varun is employed as a Data Scientist II at Toast, while continuing work at Samsung R&D Institute India. Varun holds a dual degree in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
