William Benson is an experienced User Researcher with a strong background in quantitative analysis and user experience research. Currently serving as a User Researcher at Toast since April 2022, William has successfully conducted regression analysis related to customer downsells and developed metrics to assess client interventions. William's previous roles include Senior Program Manager and Senior UX Researcher at Toast, alongside leadership positions at athenahealth, where expertise in coaching and team management was demonstrated. With a solid foundation in usability analysis from Fidelity Investments and CIGNA, along with academic experience in research at George Mason University and SUNY Oneonta, William holds an M.A. in Human Factors/Applied Cognition and a B.S. in Psychology.
