Per Malmén

Per Malmén is an accomplished technical director with extensive experience in game development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Technical Director at Toca Boca since January 2025, Per previously held the same position at Nørdlight Games from January 2023 to January 2025, where responsibility included all coding and technical systems for the game Rubik's Match. Prior to that, Per spent nearly a decade at King in various roles such as Associate Technical Director, Principal Engineer, Tech Academy Headmaster, Developer Manager, and Producer, contributing to game teams and leading initiatives focused on code quality and internal tech training. Earlier career experiences include positions at IGT, Entraction, Ongame Services, bwin, and Jadestone Group, where Per developed mobile gaming solutions and server-side applications. Per holds a degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, obtained between 1999 and 2004.
