Akari Ono

Graphic Designer at TOCA

Akari Ono is an experienced graphic designer with a strong background in design and leadership, currently working at TOCA since February 2013. Prior to this role, Akari served as Programming Director for SAIC AIGA, where several workshops were arranged for over 50 students, along with hosting lecture events to foster dialogue among students, teachers, and professionals. Experience as a freelance designer for JSAIC and Yoshida-Ya involved designing logos and promotional materials, as well as contributing to New Year's greeting cards. Akari also held positions as International Orientation Leader at The Art Institute of Chicago, assisting freshmen students, and as Treasurer for SAIC AIGA, managing the organization's budget and increasing funding significantly. Akari holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has an educational background from Woodstock School in Mussoorie, India.
