Dewani Shebubakar

Dewani Shebubakar has extensive experience in design and strategy, currently serving as the Head of Strategy, Design and Innovation and previously as Strategic Design Director and Strategic Design Lead at Today since May 2021. Prior experience includes positions at AKQA from July 2017 to May 2021, where Dewani held roles as Lead Experience Designer and Senior Experience Designer, and at DT from October 2015 to June 2017 as an Experience Designer. Earlier career stages include graphic design at U-bahn design and freelance design work, along with internships at Street Press Australia and Portable. Dewani's educational background includes a Bachelor of Communication Design from Swinburne University of Technology, a degree in Communication Design from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, and a Bachelor of Communication Media from RMIT University, along with specialized training in User Experience Design from the Tractor Design School.
