Jacqui Nelson

Jacqui Nelson is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, currently contributing to Contact Energy’s executive leadership team. They have held significant governance roles at Contact Energy, overseeing capital allocation and risk management, and serving as a director for several subsidiaries including Contact Energy Solar Ltd and Simply Energy. Jacqui currently chairs the New Zealand Red Cross Foundation and has extensive governance experience in not-for-profit organizations. They hold memberships in professional organizations such as the Institute of Directors and the New Zealand Geothermal Association, and are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Otago.
