Josh Symes

Josh Symes has a diverse work experience in education and wellbeing. Josh is currently the Head of Wellbeing and Insight at togetherAI since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Stamford American International School, Singapore as the DP for Wellbeing, Pastoral Care and Operations from June 2020 to June 2021. Before joining Stamford American International School, they were associated with Singapore American School for over a decade, serving as a Middle School Physical and Health Educator & 8th Grade Leader from August 2012 to June 2020, as well as a MS PE & Health Educator from July 2009 to May 2020. During their tenure at Singapore American School, they also served as the Grade 5 Year Level Coordinator/Teacher from July 2009 to July 2012. Prior to their role at Singapore American School, they worked at Australian International School, Singapore as a Year Level Coordinator/Teacher from July 2007 to June 2009, and at Taipei American School as a Year Level Coordinator/Teacher from July 2005 to June 2007.

Josh Symes has an extensive education history spanning several years. Josh pursued a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree in Arts/Education from the University of Ballarat, which they completed from 1996 to 1999. Josh went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo between 2005 and 2007. Building on their education, they then pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from the University of Melbourne, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Furthermore, Josh achieved a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Bethel University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Josh also pursued a Licentiate degree in Health and Wellness, General from the International Coach Academy, though the exact timeframe for this is not specified.
