TOKAI Corp. is primarily engaged in supplying beddings for hospitals, clinics and care facilities, as well as hotels and resort facilities, on a rental or contract basis. It has four business segments. The Healthy Life Services segment is primarily engaged in renting beddings and nursing care products, providing food service, and manufacturing and selling cleaning machinery. The Dispensing Services segment is engaged in operating pharmacies for dispensing service in front of general hospitals. The Environmental Services segment is engaged in the rental and sale of environmental products, and the building cleaning and management services mainly for medical institutions and nursing care facilities, through the franchising network of regional headquarters and agencies across the nation. The Others is engaged in providing operation information and other businesses. As of March 31, 2014, it had 14 subsidiaries and two associated companies.
