Tamara Lima

Chief Customer Officer at Token Transit

Tamara Lima began their career in 2008 at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) as a Counselor for Engineering Possibilities in College Summer Program, Cal Poly, where they mentored and motivated minority students to attend college in engineering. Tamara also served as the Marketing & Communications Director for the Open House Committee and the Public Relations Lead for Summer Orientation, Advising, and Registration. In 2011, Tamara began working at icebreaker, a VF Company, as an Assistant Store Manager and Sales and Marketing Associate. That same year, they also started at Fehr & Peers as a Transportation Engineer + Planner, where they executed and managed transportation projects for public and private sector clients. In 2015, Tamara embarked on a year-long backpacking trip around South America as a Transit Trekker. In 2016, Tamara joined Remix as a Director of Customer Insights, Enterprise Customer Success Manager, and Product Manager. In 2021, they moved to Via as a Partner Insights Principal, Remix by Via. Tamara is currently at Token Transit as the Chief Customer Officer and Director of Customer Success, where they are responsible for customer success across 180+ North American transit agencies, riders, and integration partners.

Tamara Lima attended Modesto High School from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Tamara then attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Transportation Concentration. In April 2011, they obtained a certification as an Engineer In Training/FE Civil from the California Board For Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
