Gideon Fourie

Gideon Fourie serves as the General Manager for Germany and Managing Director of token GmbH at Token.io since July 2024. Prior to this role, Gideon held the position of Associate Partner at TFPA from January to August 2024, contributing to a boutique advisory network in fintech and payments. From February 2022 to January 2024, Gideon was the Chief Commercial Officer at RS2, a prominent provider of payment processing solutions. Between October 2008 and February 2022, Gideon served Fiserv as both Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the DACH region, and as Vice President for Strategic Planning and Sales Operations. Earlier experience includes various leadership roles at Commerzbank, Absa Bank, The Banking Association South Africa, Deloitte, and Standard Bank. Gideon holds a Master of Commerce in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce in Law, both from the University of Pretoria.
