Andreas Dombret

From May 2010 - May 2018, Prof. Dr. Andreas Dombret was a member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank and responsible for banking and financial supervision, economic education, risk controlling and the Bundesbank's foreign representative offices.

Previously, he worked at Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt from 1987 to 1991, at JP Morgan in Frankfurt and London from 1992 to 2002, and as Co-Head of Rothschild Germany in Frankfurt and London from 2002 to 2005, before joining Bank of America as Vice Chairman for Europe and Head of Germany, Austria and Switzerland from 2005 to 2009.

After leaving the Deutsche Bundesbank, Andreas Dombret was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel until the end of 2018, after which he took on a portfolio of advisory mandates. He advises, among others, the international management consultancy Oliver Wyman, the major Japanese bank Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp (SMBC) and the London-based equity research house Autonomous.
