Tim Hames

Tim Hames is a writer, consultant, and senior adviser with a strong strategic mindset and extensive political network. They have held prominent positions such as Director General at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA), where they significantly expanded membership from 508 to nearly 800 institutions. Currently, Hames serves as an Advisory Board Member at Tollejo, a Senior Policy Advisor for multiple organizations, and a Co-Founder and Director at Titan Partners Ltd, among other roles. Additionally, they have authored several books and previously worked as a lecturer in politics at Pembroke College Oxford and Christ Church, Oxford. Hames earned a BA and a PhD in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
