Michael Elm

Michael Elm has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as the Chief Legal Officer at Tolmar, a role they started in September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Astellas Pharma US, where they held multiple roles, including Executive Director and Deputy General Counsel. In this position, they partnered with various teams to develop negotiation strategies for commercial contracts and provided leadership in legal department initiatives. Michael Elm attended the University of Minnesota from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Finance. Following this, they pursued higher education at the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, from 1995 to 1999. There, they obtained their Juris Doctor degree with honors, specializing in Law. In 2012, Michael enrolled in the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago for an Executive Education program in the field of Business Administration and Management, known as the Mini-MBA Management Program.
