Morgan Milner is currently serving as the Senior Director of Product at Tom Beckbe. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development and building a technical design program for various categories, both domestically and overseas. Their responsibilities also include managing fabric and trims, creating core blocks, setting up grade rules, and creating packaging, labeling, and measurement manuals for a more efficient work process.
Prior to their current position, Morgan worked at Billy Reid as the Director of Technical Design for both men's and women's clothing. They managed the technical design program for all categories, focusing on refining blocks for core styles, streamlining tech packs, and organizing grade rules.
Before Billy Reid, Morgan gained experience as a Senior Technical Designer at rag & bone, where they managed the technical design program for men's clothing, including cut & sew knits, bottoms, shirting, tailoring, and outerwear categories. They also refined blocks for core styles and had experience working on seasonal fashion shows.
Earlier in their career, Morgan served as a Technical Design Manager at JackThreads, where they created the technical design program for private labels, conducted fittings, perfected blocks for core styles, set up grade rules, and created technical packages.
Prior to JackThreads, they worked as a Technical Designer at J.Crew and The Jones Group Inc. At J.Crew, Morgan worked on Collection Bottoms and Suiting Dresses, conducting fittings, correcting patterns, creating technical packages, and working with overseas vendors. At The Jones Group Inc., they worked on the Nine West Dress Division and a dress project with Target Brands Inc. as a Junior Technical Designer, providing assistance in fittings, checking grade rules, creating technical packages, and working with overseas vendors.
Morgan Milner attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they pursued an Associates and Bachelors degree in Patternmaking Technology and International Trade and Marketing for Fashion Industries.
