Ken Tran's work experience includes the following:

- Associate Mechanical Engineer at Tomahawk Robotics (2020-present): Designed rugged and IP67 rated chassis with integrated thermal management solutions for power distribution hub with edge processor capabilities. Also designed IP67 rated and ruggedized controller (Grip).

- Mechanical Engineer at JD Squared Inc. (2019-2020): Designed an air handler for the selective solder machine and an impeller based on pressure head and airflow requirements. Specified the filter stack.

- Manufacturing Engineer at Sylphase (2018): Designed and manufactured molds for injection molding used in hydrophone manufacturing.

- Grader for EML2023 at University of Florida (2015-2018).

- Mechanical Engineering Intern at JD Squared Inc. (2018): Designed and oversaw manufacturing for wave solder pallets, incorporated the use of sheet metal components, and designed jigs for CNC milling.

- Mechanical Systems Lead for SubjuGator AUV at Machine Intelligence Lab (MIL) (2016-2017): Worked on integrating various mechanical systems onto a robotic submarine, designed and manufactured pneumatic manipulators.
