David Blevins

David Blevins is the Founder and CEO of Tomitribe, a company specializing in support and services for Apache TomEE and Tomcat, established in September 2013. Blevins has been involved with the Java Community Process since June 2004 and serves on the Executive Committee since November 2016, contributing as an Expert Group member for various Java EE specifications. In addition, Blevins is a long-time member and Vice President of Apache TomEE at the Apache Software Foundation, where contributions include co-founding Apache OpenEJB, Apache TomEE, and Apache Geronimo. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Architect at IBM and Gluecode, and as a co-founder of OpenEJB. With a background in software development and consulting dating back to 1998, Blevins holds educational credentials from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
