Darrell Shaffer is an experienced operations and underwriting professional with a proven track record in building and transforming underwriting departments across multiple companies. Currently serving as Head Of Operations/Underwriting at Tomo since March 2021, Darrell focuses on automation and technology integration to enhance underwriting efficiency and accuracy. Previously, Darrell held the position of Head of Underwriting at Opendoor, where a strategic vision leveraging AI and data analytics was established. With prior roles including Underwriting Manager at PARKSIDE LENDING LLC and various senior underwriting positions at Capital One and Great Western Home Loans, as well as experience in leadership and financial roles at Bank of America and Prosperity Bank, Darrell combines extensive industry knowledge with a commitment to innovation.
