Ted Schiele

Ted Schiele has over two decades of experience in website management and marketing, currently serving as the Website Manager for Tompkins County since February 2000. Responsibilities include overseeing health promotion initiatives such as the Community Health Assessment and the Community Health Improvement Plan, as well as managing marketing design and production for the Tobacco Free Tompkins program. Prior to this role, Ted Schiele operated as a Sole Proprietor at Adshop Marketing from June 1991 to December 2000 and worked as the Marketing Manager at The Ithaca Times from April 1985 to June 1992. Ted Schiele holds a Master of Science in Communication from Ithaca College, a Master of Science in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Oregon State University. Educational background also includes a high school diploma from Germantown Friends School.
