Joar Handeland

Joar Handeland currently serves as SVP Group IT at TOMRA since February 2024 and previously held the position of Chief Information Officer at Aker Solutions. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at Accenture from August 1999 to December 2006, where Joar focused on management consulting within the finance and energy sectors, addressing topics such as gas downstream strategy, IT transformation, strategy process development, and online banking. Earlier in Joar's career, a managerial position was held at Den Norske Turistforening, overseeing Fanaråkhytta from February 1995 to December 1996. Joar Handeland holds a Master of Business and Economics degree in International Business from BI Norwegian Business School, earned between 1992 and 1996.
