Ashish Dhiman

Ashish Dhiman is an accomplished lead applied scientist specializing in machine learning and computer vision, currently contributing to the HD Maps Unit at TomTom since February 2020. Ashish leads the HD Lane Features team, focusing on autonomous driving applications and the development of advanced computer vision models and map-matching algorithms utilizing HD aerial and LiDAR data. Previous experience includes a role as a senior data scientist at HERE Technologies, where Ashish worked on road boundary detection and lane markings through satellite and aerial imagery. Prior positions at Atos involved developing banking applications and web services. Ashish holds a Master of Computer Science with a specialization in machine learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur.
