Chris Ferguson, PhD, has extensive experience in software engineering and development, particularly in the realms of virtual reality and gaming. As a PhD candidate at Utrecht University from February 2017 to April 2021, Chris researched VR serious games focused on cultural heritage and produced commercially published titles. Previous roles include researching at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics, supporting PlayStation developers at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, and working as a simulated reality developer at Dimenco. Chris has also contributed to the fashion industry through the Dtail platform at PixelPool as a software engineer. Additionally, entrepreneurial efforts include the ownership of Brand n Burn, specializing in laser-engraved gifts. Chris holds a First Class Honours degree from Sheffield Hallam University. Currently, Chris is employed as a software engineer at TomTom.
