Fred Depuydt

Fred Depuydt is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the VP of Geospatial Data Engineering at TomTom since February 2007. In this role, Fred has successfully led global product teams and managed complex software engineering programs, significantly improving customer satisfaction while reducing map complaints. Previous positions at TomTom include Director of Software Engineering for Customer Programs and Maps, Director of Points of Interest, and Program Director for Real-Time Maps, where Fred spearheaded the transition to a cloud-based mapping platform. Before joining TomTom, Fred worked at BASE (Telenet Group) as Customer Relationship Management and Billing Manager, overseeing critical systems and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Fred holds an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School and a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from Ghent University.
