Hsinwei Yang

HsinWei Yang is an experienced software architect and product owner currently working at TomTom since July 2016, where responsibilities include designing and developing navigation applications in collaboration with teams across Taiwan, India, and Europe, as well as aligning requirements with stakeholders. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Assistant Manager and Principal Engineer at HTC from June 2011 to June 2016, focusing on the Android Multimedia Framework, which encompasses streaming and MediaPlayer functionalities, as well as camera applications. HsinWei also served as Principal Engineer at Alpha Image Tech from April 2006 to June 2011, concentrating on video codec development, and held a managerial position at the Institute for Information Industry from January 2002 to March 2006, working on MPEG4 and H264 codec technologies. HsinWei holds a Master of Computer Applications degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, obtained in 2001.
