John Matta

John Matta is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at TomTom, where they lead teams in the Assisted Driver Automation Systems organization. Previously, they were a Software Development Manager at Amazon, where they expanded a team of 17 developers across the UK and the US, and successfully delivered strategic multi-year projects to enhance revenue opportunities. John began their career as a Software Developer with The Living Stones Group, creating websites and tools for diverse clients, and they also held a researcher position with the Egyptian Armed Forces. John earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Alexandria University.
